Hardware Engineer - Input Devices

Santa Clara Valley (Cupertino),California,United States

Hardware

• Strong EE background in mixed-signal system design

• Profound understanding of power electronics

• Hands-on experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification and manufacturing support

• Successful track record of working closely with Mechanical Engineering and Firmware teams

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

• Preferred skills:

• Experience working with sensors (e.g. inertial, touch, force, pressure), wireless communications (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi), low power design, and human-machine interaction

• Experience designing high volume, high quality consumer electronic products

• Experience preliminary data analysis and scripting languages

• Experience leading a technical team

Description

• Schematic capture and managing PCB layout design of the electrical system, including power management, micro-controller, wireless communication, sensor integration and component selection. - Execution of the design in high volume, including characterization and validation across all development builds. - Authoring of detailed engineering requirements specifications. - Working with and managing suppliers/manufacturing partners including overseas build support. - Interface with and present to cross functional leaders for project reviews and discussions.

Education & Experience

Bachelors or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
